FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION & CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Birdworx Return & Exchange Policy
At Birdworx, we take pride in the quality, creativity, and care that goes into every product and design. Because many of our items are custom-built and made-to-order, our return policy is crafted to balance fairness with the specialized nature of our work.
Custom Orders
Due to the personalized nature of custom artwork, graphics, helmets, and apparel:
- All custom orders are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund unless the item arrives damaged or contains an error directly caused by Birdworx.
- If a mistake was made on our part (wrong design, incorrect item, production error, etc.), we will remake or replace the item at no additional cost.
Non-Custom & Stock Items
For non-custom or stock items:
- Returns or exchanges must be requested within 14 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging.
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a Birdworx error.
Team Helmet Orders – Special Terms
For team projects where Birdworx orders helmets on your behalf:
- Unskinned and unused helmets may be eligible for return, but only for Birdworx store credit. No cash refunds will be issued.
- If helmets are returned to the helmet manufacturer, a restocking fee of up to 20% will apply. Any return shipping or handling fees will also be deducted from the total credit.
- Store credit can be used toward any future Birdworx services or products, including graphic design, apparel, branding, or merchandise.
Out-of-Stock Helmet Inventory
If Birdworx places an order with a helmet manufacturer and the requested model, size, or color is out of stock:
- We will contact you promptly with estimated restock dates or available alternate options.
- You may choose to:
- Wait for the manufacturer to restock the original helmet model.
- Select a comparable in-stock model, size, or color.
If neither option works for your team and you choose to cancel the helmet portion of the order:
- Any completed design work, setup fees, or non-helmet items that have already been produced will still be billed.
- Only the unavailable helmets will be removed from the order, and no cancellation fees will apply unless helmets have already shipped.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:
- Contact us within 5 days of delivery at info@birdworx.com.
- Please include clear photos of the issue along with a brief explanation.
- We will investigate and, if the issue is confirmed, replace or correct the item at no cost to you.
